Menu for the day

 These two weeks we have been learning about Celebrations & Festivals and one of the activities we had to do a menu of different countries of the world. Something that I think that I have done well is the colors of the background and the food types. Something that I think that I need to work on is the amount of the work that I did and possibly do more next time. Hope you enjoyed looking at my menu!

Happy 4th of July (aka American independence day)

These past two weeks we have been learning about all of the different holidays and celebrations of the world and countries although it has been fun we have very few days left to do the slide. Something I have done really well is all of the posters like the one that is below. Finally something that I think that I  need to work on is pacing my self with the different activities and not taking to long. Hope you enjoy looking at my poster! 

New Zealand Facts and Figures

For these two weeks we have been learning about the History of NZ we had a series of activities to do and one of them were to find the following we had to find them from biggest to smallest. The things that I thought I did well was the images and how cool they look. Finally what I think I did badly was also some of the images cause some of them don't look as cool. Thanks for reading!👍😊

Harare Factfile

 This week we have been learning about Geography and Countries. One of the activities that we had to do was make a factfile on a country that wasn't NZ or Australia so I picked Harare. Something that I found hard was finding the information and looking through different websites to find it. Finally something I liked was making it and finding the pretty border.

NBA news report

 The LA Lakers have got a very exciting history. It all began in 1947 when Ben Berger and Morris Chalfan of Minnesota bought the recently disbanded Detroit Gems of the NBL for $15,000 from the Gems owner Maury Winston. Their name was inspired by Minnesota's nickname “land of 10,000 lakes” the team then christened themselves the Lakers! They compete in Basketball, they play in LA, California, United States. Their star player is Kobe Bryant the 26 of 26!

The GAME!!!!!!😱😵😶

This term we have been learning about Athletics and Sport and one of the activities was to make a basketball report on a game. We had to make up teams, names, venue, date, weather and the final score. We also had to describe the game and how it  went. What I think I did well was the names and the venue. What I think I could do better maybe would pick better names or just have more.👌😘👍✌😁😏😌😎😜😋😃 Thanks for reading my blog-post😜

Instructional dancing

This week we have been learning about different styles of dancing and the activity that I had to do was find the differences for these two different instructional dances as well as the similarities. What I think that I did well was finding the facts and something I thought that I need to work on is maybe writing more things. The TokTok

This week we have been learning about different dances and how to do them and one of my activities were to make our own TikTok dance, but the only rule is that you're not aloud to use the exact dance for that song you could use the song but just mash a bunch of different dances and this is mine and Chloe.L's TikTok. Logo Designs

This week we have a new theme and it is Brands and Logos. One of the activities were going on to Logomakr.com and complete the tasks on the slide and make them into a company. Once we had finished doing that we had to write a letter to the CEO of one of the company's. What I think I did well was making the logos and the names, but something I think I might need to work on is doing different colours. Enjoy!

 This week we have a new theme for literacy it is Brands and Logos. For this activity we had to use Logomakr.com and make our own logo with our initials. My initials are C & B so my company would be Cookie Bar or something starting with my initials, you can make up one of your own with your name. What I think I did well would be the way I decorated it anad the colours. Something I need to work on is some different kinds of pictures.

Theses past few weeks we have been learning about bugs and insects one of my activities was to amke a ant food item and I made an ant ice cream hope you enjoy!!

 These few weeks we have been learning about Bugs and Insects and the topic that I chose was Insects you can eat and one of my activities was to make a menu for my Bugalicious Café. Something that I thought I did good was the food and drinks as well as the pricing of it. Something I think I could've done better was the pictures and making some of my own with the polyline or something. Hope you enjoy! 

Slam Hawks Best Player!

These past two weeks we have been learning about different 1970s Events and Politics, Sports, Fashion and I wanted to do sports and one of the activities was making a Basketball kit from the 70s. What  I thought I did well was adding the hoop and Kobe shooting and what I thought I did badly was the colouring of it and the name. Hope you enjoy!

Austin Powers description!

This is my character description for Austin Powers!

Austin Powers is wearing a blue striped suit and an orange blazer, brown boots, a blue bandanna around his neck and some glasses. He is either dancing with townsfolk or running away from fans. He is a very happy person as well as brave and caring. He would be feeling very distressed with all of the teenagers chasing him everywhere and trying to find a good place to hide or something to disguise himself with. His cheeks were quite rosy but not too rosy, when you look at his face you see wrinkles when he smiles and a kind, loving feel when you see him for the first time. His hair was a thick and tangled brown colour. He also has a gadget necklace and a blue car with the american flag printed on it.

These few weeks we have been learning about what it was like in the 90's. Today I did the comparisons of the music in the 90's and then in the 2000's. What I think that I did well is a lot of things and the things that I thought that I didn't do well would be explaining some of the questions. Enjoy!

The 90's Gig

This week we have gone back to the 90s and we have different kinds of activities to do with the 90s. I had to dress myself up in things or people of the 90s and I dressed up as Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith and Kevin Heart. Something that I found fun was looking at the different pictures of the people and something that I found hard would have to be cropping my face and getting the right size.

Fact File

This is a fact file on Freya the Norse Goddess. Somethings that I could do better would be to find some more information and some different pictures of some of the symbols and her siblings. What I found challenging was finding who her parents were. Enjoy!

Greek and Romans Deities

These few weeks we have been learning about Gods and Myths and this is one of the activities that I had to do. One of the things that I found fun was finding who was who and things about them. What I could do next time is choose some more and different characters. Hope you enjoy!

Freya the Norse Goddess

Freya is the Norse Goddess of love, beauty, fertility and gold. I did this poster about Freya for my literacy we are learning about Myths and Gods/Goddess. I had to do a poster about a Norse God or Goddess and I picked Freya because she was my favorite. Some things I thought I could do better would be maybe some different pictures for the facts, the things I found fun was finding the picture and some cool facts for it. Hope you enjoy!

this week in literacy we have been learning about the Myths and Gods and I was doing a poster about Garmr is a blood covered dog in the Norse mythology. What I thought that was fun about it was finding out about Girmr and something that I thought that I could do next time was put in another picture.

Mythical creature Hydra

This week we have been learning about Myths and the Gods and I have chosen Greek and I had to make a poster about a mythical creature and I chose the Hydra. What I thought that was fun was researching the information what I thought could've done better was put more information.

Why is Electricity dangerous?

These few weeks we have been learning about electricity and magnetism and this is a poster about why electricity is dangerous to people of all ages. The things hat I enjoyed was making the poster and the things that I thought were challenging was finding the information about the dangers of electricity, what I could do next time was maybe ad some different colours and include a picture of how electricity is dangerous. 

My electric vehicle of the future

For literacy we have been learning about Electricity and Magnesium. One of the activity's were we had to make an electric vehicle design that would suit us best and this is my electric vehicle it has five features that are underneath the drawing. One thing that I thought was hard was drawing the car and the thing that I thought I did best was the features and also the shape of the car, and what I thought that I could do better next time was more and different features and the way it is powered.

My Favorite Animal Lion Cubs

Lion cubs are my favorite animals because they are cute, fuzzy, small and energetic just like me. They weigh 2-4 pounds, their parents average heights are male: 1.2 m female: 1.1 m adult, at shoulder. Lions inhabit the grasslands, shrubs and open woodlands of sub-Saharan and a small population lives in India's Gir Forest. They prefer temperatures at about 25-30 degrees celsius because they live in the Savanna and it is pretty hot in the Savanna. They drink milk from their Mother's teats because it helps them grow quicker and at around 2-3 months they start eating meat as well as their small milk teeth and of course they are mammals. Lions can come in a range of different  colours from nearly white to tawny yellow, ash brown, ochre, and deep orange-brown. They have a tuft of dark fur at the tip of their tail. Lions are the largest of all African cats.

Pluto the disappearing planet

These few weeks we have been learning about space we got to choose what planet/s to work about so I chose Pluto because it is not a planet anymore and when I started working on it there was lots to learn about, and my Teacher helped me when I got stuck and my friends showed me how to make my interview and it was really fun! What I really enjoyed was making up my own planet my friends planets had really funny names one them was made of food, but what I found challenging was that not many people had been doing Pluto so I couldn't really ask much people for help. What I might do next time is use a different DLO like a slide or a google drawing.

Mars buggy

This is my mars we have been learning about space and my planet is mars and we had to make a mars buggy that is good for driving on mars, what I enjoyed was making the mars buggy and what I found challenging was when I had to find the things I needed to make it. What I think I might do next time is put some different colours and objects to make it better and more improved.
